The Truth About Hi Flo Turbo
And if it was locked, and 70k, or 5 k for that matter is missing from a customers pocket..than there would be some people not only mad at Hi-Flo, but at Tech. This thread should not be locked, its the only way some of these people can express their frusterations, get good or bad advice, and sometimes even get some hope. Bottom line is that they have lied and are guilty of poor business practices. It's sad too, cause Marko seemed like an awesome guy and was the talk of many "lots and hang outs" throughout the country, literally. In Albany, Boston, Detroit and Tampa.. all places I have visited the local hang-outs.. they all knew of him and placed him on a pedistal. Many now have heard through the grapevine the stories, and his stock has dropped like EnRon. In the end, all that was needed...ALL that was needed was open communication of the truth.... thats what was missing.
In case your wondering how I play in... I was made to look bad, real bad. I sold my old front mount kit, and coaxed the buyer into sending Marko the kit so he could use it for "ideas" or design work (since the manufactuer of my kit is out of Biz). I spent hours on the phone with him telling him to good and bad and everything I knew about the kit, and I was truely trying to help him with the design of his new one. Since he hated logs, if nothing else, this showed good turbo placement and so on. It was just for ideas. In the end, the owner of the kit was given some options by Marko that ranged from "upgrading" my old kit somehow, to selling it for him and making him a Hi-Flo kit. Marko said he had my kit flowed (took many months) and the bottom line is the kid I sold the kit to waited almost 9 months... 6 months too long, to get the kit back. The kit was only returned after a thread was started here on tech.. so threads can cause action sometimes..if the desired action is possible. Thats what is concerning here..they dont want bad press and have proven they will step up if possible, not to have it. They havent stepped up here, so maybe they simply are overwhelmed or up to something more sinister. In the end the kit was returned with a few minor parts missing. This isn't personal, its about keeping everyone well aware of whats happening...something that wasnt done well with Tony Cas, Dave Inall, Joe Prince, Chris Jelly, Jay Bruno, the bastards at ARE who still have $3500 of ours, Rob Raymer, and the list, does indeed go on. These werent all bad people, some were good people that made bad decisions, some were poor business people, some just suck. We're not on a Ferrari forum, its an ls1 forum, so dollars do matter.
I wish Hi-flo the best and a quick recovery, but that all starts with them coming on here, and explaining what the story has been . Nothing would make most of us happier than to see 5 people pop up this week screaming the praises that their kits arrived. It's obvious they are power makers.
I can't help but wonder why A Dee O didnt see your car last time he was there. Thats unrelated to the above point I guess though.

hey A dee O wasnt your camaro at extreme hp about a few months ago before Lee closed down, and I also recal that your car was getting done over at HIflo before you pulled it out and had the other tech that quite just before your car was done, and had that tech do the finishing work else where. Correct me if Im wrong but like I said I wasnt there to defend anyone over at Hiflo. I hope the best of luck that everyone gets there kit or money back
jammer like I said in my post Im not here to make people mad at me for what I was saying I agree with everyone here it is very wrong what there doing but like you said Im trying to give some advise or maybe help someone out with what I saw thats all. I have all ready been burned at a different shop this isnt making me happy with what is going on. And no relation with Bill or Marko, just know of them.

lol, do you really think there is any hiflo customer that doesn't fully understand that there are risks involved at this point? Maybe the first 12 pages didn't get it across.
