They went through the move, hired some folks, two weeks more, two weeks more, etc.
Now it's July 16.....

Just for info for anyone else waiting.

We have a local who was supposed to get his cage on 9/13/06 and it suddenly has gone missing in the shipping process. Wolfe said they would rebuild a new one for him and have it delivered in two weeks.
Anyone else finding this strange?

Seems there is an issue with larger shipments being stolen for the metals literally by the truck load. It is happening across the board - every shipper and freight company is having this problem. FedEx cargo planes are coming up missing entire crates of raw materials
The end result could be an increase in shipping cost from having to pay claims on stolen items which would make sense, its bad enough they had to pass along fuel increase charges now this may be passed along as well in the future. Aside from hiring security which is not cost effective we may very well have to live with theft like this for awhile.
I got a bit hard on Wolfe for this and shouldn't have, for that I apologize.
The only part I take umbrance with from *any* vendor is not telling a customer it may take longer than initally expected for whatever reason. Hell, any vendor may have had a semi-truck full of raw material get held up so they can't keep on schedule but that isn't something you need to tell a customer - you only need tell them there has been a delay that is out of their control but they are working to get all orders done as soon as they can.
