SLP engineers use "The Force"

so... SLPs responce on my hood.... "that is the way that they all look".

They are willing to take the hood back though. I just feel sorry for the next person that they send this "perfect" hood to.

Not much to go with here, at least SLP is doing a return on this hood.

I agree. At least they are going to take it back. It just sucks. I really like the way the hood looked on my 2000TA. I originally wanted SLP to just send me another hood, but that's when they said that they all look this way.

I also feel shitty for initially attacking WS6store.com due to this issue. They did a stand up job of getting a resolution to this.

I tend to wonder if you are having fitment issues which can occur when there is the slightest 'bend' in the panels. Check the "Body and Paint" forum here, you may find how to get the SLP to fit with a little tweaking.

Thanks for owning up to being cranky with WS6 as well. We all make mistakes in this hobby but it doesn't mean the sky is falling
