ok first,
i ordered there 3" e-cutout. for 155 and when i got it i was like is this from QTP looks like someone made it in there back yard..the switch has electrical tape wraped all around it..ok so i went to install it and it kept blowing fues on the first try..now this is b4 even crankin up the car..well i pulled it out and wrote them an email..tellin them that im not happy and i wanted to send it back to fix it..they told me not to do that to just call them that there was probably a wire crossed or something well i tryed to call and no one answered 3 times! ok so i was checkin the wires out with a volt meter and found a wire crossed( there they soldered something together was touching) well i fixed that ( seperating them ) and reinstalled it the same thing..so ipulled it out and check over it again nothing tryed to call and nothing so i said f it and installed it again.. well i got it working for a sec. but the wire coming from the switch to the wire started to get hot so i went inside to let it cool off. now remember i wired this to my cig. lighter ( the same thing i have my radar detector runnin off of) . well i went to try it again to see what it would do and the first time i touched it the rubber on the outside of the wire coming out of the switch melted..i wrote them another email tellin them this and that i was threw and i wanted a refund..and if they couldnt then i wanted a new cut out..and i went on tellin them that iwasnt happy with there product and that i thought that it was made cheaply. well i just checked my email again and there sayin that they dont axcept used items for refund. so now i have a 150 dollar paper weight and im PISSED..i want everyone on here to know the typeof company they are.. dont take care of there customers what so ever.. i called 3 times atleast.. i installed this thing 3 times and im not happy..

What i see here is it is not installed correctly. Every unit is tested before it it is boxed up and shipped. We told you to call us during business hours to try to trouble shoot before shipping it back to us to fix it.Sounds like you crushed a wire during install. Its not a big deal, We could have easily taken care of that. Did you get in touch with us? No. You demand in emails that you want refunds on shipping and on the product. Sorry but we do take returns on used or modifed parts. It also doesnt help that you post "QTP Sucks". it may get our attention but doesnt want to make us go out of our way for you.

So if you pick up the phone a call 201-444-0998 from 9am-5pm est m-f and talk to Ken. He can help you out and figure out what is going on with it. If you do not want to call us and talk trash on the internet then there is nothing else we can do for you.

 

see once again your wrong i called DURING buisness hours... theres no way i crushed a wire it wasran under the carpet (backseat floorboard) and to the center consol..and thats where i put it.. you said that i installed it wrong.. that again is wrong its a 12v + and - how hard is that..ill call yall friday..and see if we can work this out..but like i said in the email im not happy with the quallity of the product you sale nor its performance...
