Is this a joke - MTI ?
UPS pulled up with my clear MTI lid today, I was pretty surprised at what he pulled out. Hell, the driver even felt bad after delivering this:
And then of course theres the stand-up half-*** epoxy glob job on the rear of the lid. I guess you gotta spend 5K for them to consider you a "real" customer.

New label on smashed box means UPS fubard the box, not MTI. You need to email them to return the item and have it replaced, make sure to note the driver name (if you got it) with MTI when it was delivered.
You wouldn't believe what shipping companies can smash up and still deliver it with a straight face.

I understand it happened in shipping, but what did they expect? They threw the lid into the box with no packing material and 8 inches of empty space above it. You can't blame UPS for stacking boxes up, theres only so much room in their facilities, and besdies i've had over 20 packages delivered in the last week or 2, none looked like, and infact, I have NEVER received a package that loooked like this.
P.S. - Im not looking to have it returned, the Lid wasn't broken, I was a little dissapointed in the hack job they did with epoxy all over the back, but only MTI makes a clear lid, so I guess I'm stuck with theirs.

Most of the packing would have fallen out for the way it looks, they treated it rough, put tape on it to get it off the truck.
There is no picture of the clear lid so no telling on that though it is being taken care of.

I agree but their would atleast be some packing material under the lid or some that got into the bag. Either way MTI did a great job of taking care of this, and my intentions were not to bash them, as I know they can build some good **** over their.

UPS is the worst with handling boxes. I work at Southwest Airlines and we never use them because how they treat our expensive aircraft parts.
When a UPS truck pulls up and rolls open the back door it looks like a bomb went off inside it.....everyday. When Fed Ex drops off they have all the boxes all stacked nice and neat.
UPS is to blame for that I bet, label is creased like the box is. I bet they dropped it, kicked it and after that UPS tried to patch it up with a strip of tape.
I'm glad to see that David stepped in and handled this, another reason why I would not let anybody else touch my car but them. Thumbs up MTI!
Peace,
Craig.

Crager, notice the shipping label is over the tape? As usual they smashed up the box, everything fell out, they stuff part of it back in and rubbed a new label on it. I've seen em' do it and so have you, un-be-leave-able!

Your lid left yesterday - we've been out of stock on them for about 3 weeks so I haven't been able to fill any orders. Please call me at the shop and I'll give you a tracking number.
Thanks,
David
