Post Problem with Thunder Racing: RESOLVED

*RESOLVED*

See final post

I was looking at their website trying to find something to blow $50 bucks on and found some ARP flywheel bolts and a plug for my stock elbow (LT1 guys know). Oh cool, I thought. $35 for a plug beats $60+ for a new elbow. Why not?

*ORDER DATE:06/02/2007 12:41 AM *

Flywheel bolts show up a week later, 6/9. On the order slip it read "Other item will be shipped seperatly." Okay whatever.

6/23 I still havn't recieved the plug. I email them:

"Hey I still havn't received the resonator tube plug, on my order form it said it was shipped seperately?

- Anthony "

Reply:

"Anthony,

It will actually come to us and then ship out to you. We are waiting for our order from MBA as this item was not in stock.

Todd "

Okay, no problem. I can understand that. I emailed back to get an ETA the same night:

"Anthony Garcia wrote:
> Do you have a timeframe estimate? If it's too long I just want to exchange it for the full elbow."

A resonable request I thought, hell I even said I'd exchange it and pay them more. They didn't get back to me. I got busy.

7/15:

"Can I just get a refund for the $35 and shipping thanks

- Anthony"

Once again I'd think this was reasonable. No response, again.

Come on guys, no big deal. It's only $35 bucks + shipping, just refund it.

I manage a retail store out here and in my line of business my customers would crucify me if we flaked out on someone's order this hard. Yes, even someone who's only spending $35. I give my BEST service to EVERY customer, once again even if they're only spending $35 or a big $1500 order.

Please refund me, thank you.

Transaction information:

The full amount was charged to me.

Have you tried calling? You do realize email is not 100% fool proof right? We do have spam filters and sometimes we never even see the emails. But in the day and age everyone assumes their email gets through and the guy on the other end is just blowing them off.

We do not even charge for merchandise until it is shipped out, so I don't understand how you were charged. This is not an item we would drop ship either. We do charge ahead for drop ship items though.

Send me a PM with your order number and/or full name and I will get you a response on Friday.

Also, if MBA does not provide us with the item, then we can not send it out. It is not rocket science. You can not ship what you do not physically posess

I understand that you cannot ship what you do not stock. You're right, it isn't rocket science. But neither is circumventing a spam filter or making sure that you follow up on customer's orders.

I tried calling once, didn't get through. Didn't try again, too busy.

PM sent.

I'll post back up when the situation is resolved.

Todd said he refunded it today, he said there was a glitch and for some reason it hadn't refunded earlier.

I appreciate it and will definetly shop with you again. Thanks.
