Unhappy Thunder Racing

I've purchased from Thunder Racing before and was always satisfied. This time though I wanted to verify the pushrod length I need before purchase. I emailed tech@thunderracing.com with the math I used to figure out the length, since there's no way I could describe it over the phone, and just wanted somebody with more experience than me to confirm the math was correct. Well, it's a couple weeks later and I never got a response. I've found a good deal elsewhere, and talking to others I believe the pushrod length I've come up with is correct. So, unfortunately, I'm not going to buy them from Thunder Racing. Customer service is everything. If I got an answer, even if not immediately, I would have purchased the pushrods the same day.

My guess is someone from Thunder will be here shortly to address this - it could be they didn't know who you were or the title hit their spam filter.

You can always call as well just to make sure they got your email or discuss the math you came up with.

I did not call because how do you say...

7.38 + [ (1.553 / 2) - (1.440 / 2) ] - [ 0.050 - (0.056 - 0.052) ] = 7.3905

But, your right though. I could have called to ask them to find my email and get back to me.

The phone is a your best bet. Sending an email with your math and then calling and you following up would have accomplished alot.
Getting on here and bashing us when you admit you could have called is kinda ridiculous.

I think bashing is a bit overdramatic. Regardless, my email was ignored. I sent it to other places and got replies the same day.

I am sorry you did not get a response to your tech question. I would be the person most likely picked to respond to a question such as yours. I however did not recieve your email. This would definitely be a question that required a phone call to discuss in the end. I am sorry for your inconveinence.

Thanks,
Shane
