Thunder Racing Well ill start with the Mezier Waterpump i ordered in polished and showed up in black 3 1/2 half weeks later that was supposedly in stock. I figured i was just unluky with the order as a couple friends order there and not had problems. so i try again a couple days before christmas since the had posted all over the place that they would be out of the store until the 27th and were giving bigger discounts for internet orders. I say **** it ill give it a shot.
I order a set of corbeau seat brackets and sliders for my 98 camaro. have wifey order them and i get hit for 56 dollars in shipping. she didnt know any better nor had not an idea of the size and weight of the parts. i thought it was kind of excessive but rolled with it. today the box comes and i hit the roof i was so mad. the box i was charged 56 dollars for shipping for is on the front porch and weighs 20lbs and is in a box 18 inches by 18 inches by 3 1/2 inches thick! it came from utah and went to va. i just had a upper dash shipped from cali in a box that was 5 1/2 feet long by 3 1/2 feet tall by 6 inches thick and it was 32 dollars.
thunder racing is a freaking joke and i will never buy from them again.

oh and by the way..... the 56 dollars for shipping was for fedex ground. their cheapest shipping offer. it was 260 something for their fastes service

Your 'btw' sounds as if the real issue is with FedEx. There are a couple of posts from them jacking up holiday ground prices this year, numerous missing shipments and general screwups. Shoot an email to them, I'm fed up with them ripping off both customers and vendors.
The pump is another matter. Did you initially want to exchange it or it ended up not mattering after all?

actually spoke with Angie over at thunder and she said it was because 90% of the time the brackets are ordered in conjunction with the seats and it automaticly calculates shipping in that matter. They are crediting my debit card $33 dollars as we speak.
the waterpump ended up not being too much an issue. i think the polished one was like 15 dollars more. dont remember ever getting a refund on it, but they ended up fixing things by overnighting a alt relocate bracket from bmr. (another thunder blunder but fixed no matter)
