Va Speed: Tuning! The guys at Virginia Speed went above and beyond to tune my '87 Corvette. Including having to order new hardware, software, install injectors free of charge, and adapt to the learning curve of tuning a TPI (chip) car rather than the Lsx (flash) cars thay usually went in to the shop. They pulled just under 100hp/100tq out of 7# boost resulting in 296/395 on my stock L98! The driveability in the tune is out standing! I trust it enough to drive it anywhere. ...well i did until the car was wrecked. lol
But i know alot of you guys think track times are the true measure of performance...so...N/A the car ran 13.87@98 1.95 60' - Boosted with their tune it ran 12.98@109 2.2 60' , Very traction limited! lol
...Picked up almost a full second and 11mph!
