Post Comp Cams

I purchased a set of the Comp Cams shaft mount rockers from another forum member. They arrived in excellent condition, clearly marked Comp cams and T&D and 1.7 ratio.

Yesterday My engine builder called to tell Me the rocker arms are 1.8 ratio but not to worry He deals with a great guy @ Comp and feels certain they will want to rectify this situation.

Last night My engine builder called again saying since I bought them used they wont do anything about it.

Hmmm... so they market a part mismarked and since it got by the original purchaser all is well?

Wonder how they are going to feel when I tell all that read this the original purchaser's engine was built by Lingefelter and it had a valve break and took out the engine??
You suppose the wrong ratio on the rocker had anything to do with that?

I guess the most important thing is they got their money from the original purchaser?

What is Your feelings about this Comp Cams? Please tell all Your prospective customers right here.

As for asking others to post up you should read the sticky on posts in this forum first. You have quite a degree of speculation without documentation, that also needs to be taken into consideration in this situation.

"As for asking others to post up you should read the sticky on posts in this forum first."

I have read My post again and don't see where I have asked anyone besides Comp cams to reply?? Could You please point out what You are referring to?

As far as the copy of the warranty etc from Comp, it is easy to see I need to re-word My post as I can see You missed the point.

I feel more like You don't want to see My point but that is another topic. Thanks for standing up for the sponsor prior to knowing or understanding the reason for the post. Now they have no reason to reply. I feel any more explanation on My part will just get Me in more trouble.

It seemed you were asking for input by other members, that is why I pointed by server default it cannot happen.

As for Comp's warranty it seems it would address your situation in the "original owner" paragraph. While an allowance may be made from time to time, there is also no way to know if these were sold a year ago or if there was any alteration/swap in the interim of you having bought them.
Posting their warranty would help to clarify that for you and the person you trust doing the work.

Don't take it personal, this has just been to see if all points were addressed by virtue of Comp Cams own warranty.

"It seemed you were asking for input by other members"

I ask again, where, more specifically which sentence shows any indication of Me trying to get input by other members?

"As for Comp's warranty it seems it would address your situation in the "original owner" paragraph"

As You continue to represent Comp because why? Possibly because they send money to this forum and I don't, totally dis-regarding what is morally right.

"there is also no way to know if these were sold a year ago or if there was any alteration/swap in the interim of you having bought them."

this statement leads Me to believe You have probably never seen a rocker arm, if You have, You must not know what it would require to change the ratio of one. They are clearly marked 1.7.

"Don't take it personal, this has just been to see if all points were addressed by virtue of Comp Cams own warranty. "

After My original post has been altered and You say this??? lol I bet You deny altering the post or claim someone else did it and I should not take it personal? Impossible request!

This is all in a quest to try to get Me to say something deragotory so You can have the pleasure of banning Me. Do what You feel is necessary, I have seen enough to tell You if Iam banned from posting here not much is lost with the post altering that is going on here. All I ask is You not take another cheap shot and then remove My posting priveledges with no chance of a rebuttal.
