Post texas-speed - RESOLVED

I have bought a few thousand bucks in parts over the last year or so from Texas-speed. I just bought a new rear end form them and they told me that for $75 that i get a sway bar and a the bolt mont kit. Will it turns out they dont give you the sway bar and that its not a bolt on kit. Moser says it takes only 2 days to build a rear end TS diddnt out the order in till like 4 days later. (or so says Moser) For the second time now TS has not sent me some of the parts that i have paid for and diddnt tell me that it was not there in till I'm trying to put together my stuff and i sent have some of the parts. With i got my cam they diddnt send me pushrods; and 5 days later after i called and said something they show up and now they have out done them yet again. I have been waiting for my new rear end for 2 weeks and i still dont have the abs rings that i paid for. and they dont know what to say

Dominic,

I agree this order has been a nightmare. If I could do it over again, I would have told you to go direct through Moser directly. Yes, the website did say the rearend came with a swaybar. However, you were updated that you could add a swaybar mount kit for $75 and not a swaybar PRIOR to ordering. I don't see how you can be upset about this when you were updated before you placed your order.

Please understand that I do not stock rearends here. (Like 90% of the sponsors on this board.) There are simply too many options to stock every possible combo. All I can do is place the order with Moser. You were even upset with me for beating Moser's pricing! I don't get it. Did you want me to charge you more?

Your order didn't take any longer than any other Moser order. It takes them 3-4 days to build the rearend. Then it ships out to you. Keep in mind that it takes a few days for shipping to Missouri.

Now finally, you are upset that the exciter rings were not shipped. There you have a legitament argument. I'm sorry they weren't in the box. As much as I would like to do my job here and at every other distributor we work with, it simply is not possible. Moser admitted to the error. As soon as I was aware that the exciter rings were not included I called Moser and TEXAS SPEED PAID to have them OVERNIGHTED when Moser was sending them ground. If they did not get to you yesterday, again I am sorry. All I can do is call and ask what is going on. When you call and update me at 4:14 Central Time, (5:15 Eastern) there isn't much I can do when Moser closes at 5:00 Eastern. I will call Moser as soon as I post this and find out where your exciter rings are.

At this point, I'm not sure exactly what would make you happy. I feel this post was kind of unwarranted. It seems that nothing short of me building the rearend, driving it down there myself, and installing it for you would make you happy.

As always, I will do whatever I can to help you out. But please be patient and let me figure out what is going on before you slam us on the internet. A lot of your argument I have no control over. We always pride ourselves on customer service and this is no different. However, you have to give me a chance to do so.

I don't normally post and most of the time it takes quite a bit to offend me but that being said, your only a couple of hours away. ANYTIME you THINK you can do half the job here that I do, then come on down. I can give you driving directions if you need them. You have no clue what all my job here entails, so instead of calling me a moron, come on down and try my job out for a bit.
