I purchased a 4L80E HP/Truck Series 245mm converter. It does not fully seat in the transmission, or another 80E we had in the shop. Called John, he said he would send me a shipping label, I would ship it back to him, he would fix it and send it back to me. That was the first week of June, no shipping label let. I have called numerous times, both phone numbers, left detailed messages, e-mailed, and pm'd here, no responses. My project is on hold for this converter and its starting to upset me.

I sent the converter out a few weeks ago, I have not heard anything back from them and have been trying to call. Coincidentally, I will be in Salt Lake City in 2 weeks for business, if the address on the website is not a phony I think I am going to stop in and pay a visit.

I stopped by the address listed on the website, I found Howard's Converters. I walked in and found Howard himself, I told him my situation and he explained his buisness relationship with John/Fuddle. We looked around and I found my converter in the box on the floor. He said he does not open the boxes until people call, due to conflicts with John. I explained what was going on and he showed me, with some off the self parts, what probably happened in my converter. He said any Fuddle issue he wants to resolve, and that he is a honest buisness man. I asked him to re-stall mine down to 2700rpm and fix the issue at hand, he said no problem. I feel good about what happened, I think I trust Howard and believe he will do me right. I will report back when i get the converter and attempt to install.

Howard called me yesterday, asking before he welded it up if i was sure i wanted the stall change and told me what the problem was. It was something in the turbine bronze guide or something, I don't know to much about converters. I told him that it was good to go to restall and he told me he was going to weld her up and get it back to me.

Please post when you get it back from Howards so Admin know this has been taken care of.

Unfortunately we have had to ban Fuddle.
I understand this doesn't assist in resolving your issue, but we have done everything within our power to get them to address LS1tech users concerns, and they have not been forthcoming.
We encourage you to make contact with them offline.
