Texas-Speed (Return Process Sucks)
- You need to list when something is on backorder. Even if you didn't know on my order how many other times has this happened in the last month?
- Refunds need to be instantly filed the same day as the request. It's bad business IMHO to do them at your convenience. If I buy something from Circuit City for example I don't expect them to tell me to wait two weeks when I bring it back not working because that is when they do returns.
- If that really is your typical refund policy it really should be posted on the site to alert people that their money can be tied up for quite a while.
Texas Speed is a great business that has done great things for a lot of people and I have bought from them before with great results. However the same can not be said for their return policy as it has taken at this point 15 days. It just sucks because I really need that money. Being 21 for a lot of guys even if it's just a couple hundred bucks can make a difference if your building a stroker on a budget.
If you guys can the PayPal thing would be more than great.
Disclaimer: I have called and spoke with TSP several times before this message and it is more to help others out in advance and ask if a product is in stock. I've seen a few instances on this site alone about this same experience.
First off, I apologize for Crane being back-ordered on their spring kits. Unfortunately, we don't sell many Crane spring kits so knowing Crane's inventory would be difficult.

TSP, like many companies, has a day set aside for bills payable & credit processing. Most companies operate this way because it keeps management from being stretched out too thin worrying about a single credit. I checked on the status of your credit, & it was issued to your charge card. Unfortunately, we cannot refund by a different method other than how the payment was received. Feel free to post up or call with a fax number, and I will be happy to send you a copy of the merchant credit sheet and credit memo.
Feel free to give us a call with any questions or concerns.
