ok so ill start from the beginning. i broke my Moser 12 bolt and i want to go on vacation and take the car with me, vacation 8-15-08 through 8-19-08 i cant wait order a midwest rear so ill settle for Moser and upgrade next time i need to if i need to r ill jsut add the brace and **** to mine

7-29-08 ordered a moser 9" from them (www.thunderracing.com) all the bells and whistles. well, judging by Mosers 1-2 day lead time i was thinking, ok it should be shipping out Thursday...NOT. call Friday morning 8-1-08, not shipped yet and thats all they told me and it should be shipping out Monday 8-4-08.

8-4-08 i get to thinking about what a friend told me so i called to upgrade to a different carrier and a 35 spline axle if the order had not shipped out yet.

8-4-08 called and guess what not even built yet...ok thats cool and im glad this way i can upgrade axles with no problems...

so i get them to upgrade to the bigger axles and locker over the posi and 31 spline. and figure well it should be built by Friday so ill call then and get a tracking number.

8-8-08 call...nope not even built yet...starting to get antsy and mad... i mean $2,600 you would think you could get a better answer from the people at thunder than "should be shipping", "should be built", "hopefully shipping out so and so", "thts all i can tell you is that its not built yet but should be soon", "should be shipping within the week or a few days"... i mean this is a big company ordering through another big company...WTF! well the girl i talk to uses the line "should be shipping in a few days...me im thinking Monday or tuesday. MAYBE it will get here by thurdsay and i cna slap it in and on the trailor and have some fun

TODAY 8-14-08... last time im gonna call... "hold a minute while i find out the status" ....wait.... "sir she said call back monday and she should be able to give you a tracking number"


ok lets start with the obvious... if you spend $2600 somewhere you SHOULD be able to get a more definate answer than "should be, might me, a few days, within the week" right? i know thunder isnt making these parts so i can hold them accountable for everything but i think they need to jump on their vendors a little bit more...if Moser keeps on like this i see them going under quick...real quick... ive had nothing but bad luck ordering through thunder so this time is the last time.

not to mention no one even know how the hell its shipping, whether its coming freight, UPS ground...or what! come the hell on people...needless to say if this is the majority of Mosers bull im never buying anything else from them again. 1-2 day lead time?

still nothing? i knew i should have gone direct through Moser!...never doing business with Thunder again

 

more than a year later... it takes one good business man to make things right, Thunder racing, or should i say Shane has pulled through to make me a happy customer. Thanks Shane, it shows much potential of what you will bring to Thunder by the phone call we had yesterday! i just want everyone to know that there are some good people left in this world, and it seems as if Thunder racing will be back up to par in my book again! you guys rock, and i will be contacting you tomorrow Shane, i have one quick question.

 

Thank you Jon, for posting here. It was a real pleasure talking to you. I'm glad I stumbled across your post or I might never have had the opportunity to right this wrong. Just let me know what you need and I'll be happy to do whatever I can to make it happen. I also need some critical specs on your 9" (axle length, stud type, etc...)
