reliabilty so i was just thinking im into this car for 6 years with payments, and i have 27k on it right now... warranty will be up in about 3-4 years just wondering once i pay off this bitch... you think i'll get more than 120k out of this car?
why not? it's all about maintenance... take care of it, and it will take care of you.
i'm approaching 115k, have the same aftermarket cam setup since 80k, and it has treated me very good throughout the years.

I also agree 100%. I've had many cars over the last 1/2 century, and never had any major engine or tranny problems. I attribute this to religiously changing the engine oil and filter every 3,000 miles, and also the tranny fluid and filter every 30,000 miles.

I think eventually you will have problems that stick around for a while till you can figure them out but it will always run. I think the engine will easily last 200k and the transmission depending on if you got lucky 75k to 150k. Our transmissions are iffy on there lifetime.

X2 on the tranny. Engine wise you should be fine. Take care of the car and you should have no problems. Some people have had trannys go who don't abuse their car one bit. So it's hit or miss there.
