Whats your best dyno #s?
Well i finally had a chance to dyno my car...
I've started doing all the GM tuning for a local performance shop now and had an opertunity to dyno the Monte on a mustang dyno. I didnt bother printing off a graph or anything as it was purely scientific so i could learn how to use the dyno.
Im still very much a 1/4 mile E/T guy but getting to learn how to use this dyno was pretty cool.
266 HP at roughly 5000 rpms
260 TQ at 4500 rpms
Mods currently on the car are the Hogan catless DP, modded stock intake and filter, 918 valve springs and my HPT tune up.
The 1.8 rockers and pushrods have been gone since the stock cam went back in.

278hp/263tq at 6100RPM
the dyno operator didn't know how to tune my TCM right so car was always forcing the shift at 6100 and peak power was always 6100 so no clue where the true peak was at.
heat soaked after 6 pulls so I have no flippin idea what my true HP rating is, I'll find out what my track times are later this month on the 23rd if I can get that off work.
