anybody know if our cars share seat mounting points with any other machines? i think there is lots of weight to be lost there

That'd be interesting to know if any other seats could be put in there...something sportier with more side support would be nice.

it wouldn't be hard to bolt any seat mount in there, just have to drill some new holes.

yeah It seems the newer the model, the harder to mod!
LOL!!
But anything can be fabricated. I think making brackets for your seats, so that you won't drill up the floors, would be a good idea.

They are just speed holes!! lol, if you don't want holes just weld her up. My interior is stripped right now i'm in the process of fabing some seat brackets. I don't know if i'm going to keep the rear seat out or put some buckets back there too. I'm not going for looks just performance.

You can mount just about any seat anywhere you want if you know what youre doing. Ive put recaro and corbeau seats in a few mustangs and a vette and they were a fairly painless install.

I would just like my seat to go LOWER, my head is like a half inch from the ceiling and that is with a pretty aggressive pimp lean.

The MC must be lower, I'm 6'5", 300 and I'm about 1/2" from the ceiling as well, with a pimp lean so harsh it gives the back seat no legroom.
