Default Optima

Would not fit in my tray. Due to the GXP weight balance issue I'm relocating to the trunk soon.

Optima make a great product. Once my factory battery gives me trouble that's what I'll be using.

Ermmmm.... Just to add my $.02

At my work we used to use Optima Red Tops exclusively, and would go through hundreds per year on our diesel pumps. That lasted until late last year when we received a shipment of over 50 batteries that were all unable to hold a charge. We also had several that failed within two months of being sold that were part of a different shipment. Needless to say we have stopped using Optima batteries. We were told that the quality dropped quite a bit once they outsourced production.

That said, I have no idea what battery I'll buy when my OEM finally dies. Probably a Duralast from AutoZone. It worked fine in my old Saturn.

Red tops suck. I've been through 3 or 4 of them in the last 3 years.

you cant use a regular charger to recharge them either. you have to "slow charge" them or something...

The best thing about red tops are the warranty where they keep replacing them
