Charging system faliure

Charging system faliure My 07 gxp is starting to act up. I was leaving a friends house tonight, started driving down the road and charging system faliure pops up on the info center. I looked at the volts and they were falling from about 15 but steadied out at around 14. I turned the car off checked conections and everything looked fine, and the car started back up with no problems. I drove home and the volts were at 14.30 most of the trip and then fell down to 13.87. I just replaced the battery about 4 weeks ago so im hoping that its not the battery again.
Anyone else have this happen to them, or any ideas whats going on?

your voltage sounds a bit high, I would suspect the battery has a high internal resistance or you are looking at loose/corroded cable(s). Beyond that, a failed diode bridge in the alternator could be the culprit, but I very much doubt it. Since you had the battery replaced, I would look at the cables first.
