Took my car into the dealership under my extended warranty with my $100 deductible since my 3yr 36k was done in October. My car is an 06 with 29000 it's already been in for the iss. Their was an awfull whinning noise coming from the engine bay which sounded like a tensioner going out but they said it was just a leaking power sterring hydraulic line. But on top of that my blower motor was making a click noise at low speeds so they put a new motor in. Then I told them about the tsb for the rear main seal which they found nothing but they did find that the main seal was leaking so they changed out the crankshaft rear oil seal. My question is how much if any oil did they have to lose to change the crankshaft seal, because when I picked up my car it said low oil level. Best part was that the stealership wanted to charge me $1600 to change all the fluids and do the brakes becuase they said they only have 10% life left. I laughed. So they gave me a 08 G6 GT as a rental which wasen't to bad of a car but it had hard seats and I was surprised that the ride was pretty harsh.
