But there's not much room for more, that's the point

There's not room for more on those rims. now with 18x9's as long as calculate the offset you can fit anything. The rear is where it gets a little gray. that guy at discount tire is half way right. the recommended rim size for 255/45-18's is 18x9 but you can fit them on 18x8's and I think they look better that way. plus it's safer for your rims in case you curb it. like the minimum rim width for 275/40's is 9" It's all in the offset issue. I know it can work, just how much the tire sticks out is going to be the question. That's why I want to do a test fitting before I buy anything. That's gonna be the only way to do it.

EDIT "and that's a great deal on that set of 4 Speedshifter, get em. Definitely for all-seasons. I wouldn't recommend these F1 all-seasons. I am just focusing on my summer tires at the present moment I can't wait to see how beastly this thing looks with those tires on it."

a 275 is two big of a tire,ya it might with stock wheels. will rub in the real of the fender wheel, just on the plastic.

have you thought about haveing your stock wheel widen?

my pops 255-35-20 on a 8.5 wheel, that tire was looked big on the car. i think a 8.5 is the biggest for the car. your gonna screw up your powersteiring rack. turning those monster 275

Dude 275's are only .7" wider than our stock 255's! lol, I keep trying to get this point across. It won't hurt the car, the only guess work will be in tricking the offset of the wheel to avoid rubbing when the wheel is full over. End of story. 9" rims will fit on the car, hell, for that matter, if you wanted to bow the damn thing out (I don't want to) you could put 10" rims on there with 315 wide tires, but that's just ridiculous. The point is, they'll fit, it's just gonna take a perfect fit
