Ls4 oil pressure just curious for those that have the ability to monitor your oil pressure what kinda of oil pressure your seeing in the ls4.
runnin RP 5w30 for oil
when I idle at the 850rpm I'm getting around 15psi
when I drop idle down to about 550 oil pressure drops close to 9psi
under WOT max I see is about 44psi
cruising at 75 I'm hovering between 33-35psi
how low is to low for oil pressure on these motors? The car never throws low oil pressure message so meh :<

just one of the things I monitor while I do scans with HPT. I'm still messing with the tune a lot learning as I go so figured I'd ask.

I'm using 5w30 RP, the warning sensor doesn't come on till about 5psi, those numbers are dangerously low, if your gauge is reading correctly than you need to take it to the dealer to find out what the problem is

jesus thats horribly low at idle... My camaro with all 5 main bearings killed held oil psi better than that idle. Your tuner shut off all DOD function etc in the pcm right? maybe that valley cover gasket around the oil towers are leaking? idk but thats kinda eff'ed up.
Cant say ive ever seen a LS motor in good working order less than 30 psi at idle and usually tops 60 at WOT
