Blue crap on caliper mounting bracket bolts

is this stuff like lock tite? should i get some to put on these before i reinstallation?

It is blue loc-tite on the bolts from the factory. I would recommend using loc-tite on the caliper bracket mounting bolts.

+2 a little dap goes along way. Factory bolts come pre-loctited sith a little amount

thanks guys the brakes went smooth work great had the rotors turned at napa and got pads from those guys cost me 130 bucks and four hours the dealer wanted 230

Did you have any trouble getting the rear rotors off? Mine were a bitch. The d/s rear got caught up on the horseshoe style p-brake shoe, and the p/s rear was fused to the hub and needed to be torched for a minute or two before it came off. A BFH was necessary in both instances.

not sure about all the abbreviations i only did the fronts the rear brakes are still good for a while here everything went smoothly though

BFH = Big Fing Hammer. I think P/s Parking brake shoe.. Since the parking breaks uses the inside of the hat of the rotor as the brake brum. They can get rusted and stuck
