I bought a 3.25" 90 deg elbow from silicone intakes and I had to FIGHT it to get it on the throttle body. Now it looks all warped and caved in. Unless they sent me a wrong one, a 3.25" silicone coupler didn't work for me

really??? they may have sent you a wrong one, cuz mine went on easy... didn't have to fight it at all... went on there snug, not TIGHT like you describe... I could just twist it and pull it off with one hand...

I betcha they sent you a 3"... either that or, your 08 GXP has a bigger MAF/TB.... heh...
when I ordered my FIRST one, I didn't bother to actually MEASURE the MAF/TB hahahaah... so I ordered a 3"... and when I went to put it on, it was like you describe - trying to fight it to get it stretched/pushed on...
once that didn't work, I actually measured it, and it was 3.25"...
so I got the 3.25", and it went on perfectly...
