Default Question about Nitrous and other parts?

Hello everyone! I am new to the LS4 scene and am looking for some info. I guess first off does anyone know how much nitrous can be ran on the LS4 safely? And second where can I find some good deals on other parts for these things? I have been searching the web but have come up pretty short handed. Any help would be greatly appriceated.

You can run nitrous but get a wet kit and not a dry one. Also, to run nitrous safely you really need to keep the stock tune. Some people have had trouble with piston and plug # 7 getting totally fubarred.

I am speaking with someone about a CSC for our cars (probably Paxton Novi 1000 or 2000) and will let you guys know what he say's. Once I get a picture of it I will post it up here for all to see. It WILL be cheaper than a turbo but be a tiny bit less effective due to parasitic loss through the accessory belt drive. I'll keep you all posted once I hear something.

i have read and heard that dry shots are better to use on the ls4's. You can get one for under 300 and they are much easier to install. They have caused a few issues on the ls1's though.

Here is a thread that has a lot of info in it. I am almost positive that they were all running dry kits.

Hope this helps you.
