new ride Well, I won't be the owner of an LS4 too much longer. I'll be turning my SS back into GM(smart buy) in a couple weeks. In the meantime I've picked up it's replacement. I've wanted a truck for awhile as it fits my needs a little better so I had been on the look for awhile for a truck, preferably midsize. Ended up deciding on the Tacoma. Just had to find the exact one I was looking for and finally did. Here are a few pics. It's an 09 access cab 4x4 with TRD Sport package and towing package. Love it so far.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yea the seats are very comfortable and have good support. As far as the hood scoop, unfortunately, it's just for looks. I think it gives the truck an aggressive look but it would be nice if it actually did something.
Probably will miss the LS4 power for awhile, although the truck is surprisingly quick I was impressed. Naturally nothing close to the SS, but numbers I've seen have tested it 0-60 in 6.9 which isn't bad for a 4000lb+ truck with 236hp.
JP GXP: nothing major as of now. Getting the front windows tinted next week. Threw in a set of Weathertech all weather floor mats and have a set of Weathertech in channel vent visors to go on. Eventually want to get the TRD exhaust and get a black bull bar. I'll also probably put my Avic D3 from the SS in there.

new ride hey nice truck man. no more SS. bummer. oh well time for a TRD supercharger. I still have my SS although i'm on smart buy too, I'm unsure what i will do at the end of the term. I'd rather keep it. anyway enjoy your truck dude looks sharp.

Yea I'm actually paying to get out of it early because I'm going to obliterate my mileage limit if I keep it til August 2010. Buy out amount then would be $16.5k which is more than the car is worth NOW haha. My payments from now til next August would be around 2 grand plus I'll end up going over miles by 10k so that's another 2 grand. I could do a payoff now of $1500 and get rid of it now so it made sense for to do this now. $1500 vs. $4000.

new ride hmmm this is something to think about. I only have 7,502 miles on mine now and like i said i'd like to keep it but it's the thought of the payoff at the end that's the kicker. i just got my plate sticker put on too. decisions decisions.
