i might fab up my own intake since im sure i wont be having the cash for a k&n one anytime soon.. but since there is no shield and our cars make alotta heat under the hood, just wanted to know if u get any differences between this and stock?

Looks good, love white. Does your state require a front plate? If not why you still have the front bracket?

You are probably sucking up the hottest air possible in that engine bay...what are you IATs?

That is a really nice looking car. Red and white go together really well.

My state does require a front plate, but I still don't run one. Haven't on any of my cars in the last 5 years and haven't ever been bothered about it. My car has the factory mounted bracket as well and I know I didn't take mine off because of the holes in the bumper.

I've been looking for a custom front plate that says GXP or something. Haven't been able to find anything that I like though.

I also have a white GXP. It's weird looking at pics of a car that looks almost identical from the front of the car. Nice car. The back of mine looks a little different because of the exhaust tips.

if you're not running a front plate you might as well take the bracket off. even if there will be holes. I did it, and it's not that big of a deal.

I personally am not a fan at all of those vanity plates that say something on it or have a logo.

There's a plate on eBay with the GXP logo on it, but it's 35 bucks. Looks like they just got a mirrored plate and stuck a GXP badge on it...

Mine had the bracket too, I just put painted screws in the holes. I'm gonna fill them and the Pontiac badge hole in when I repaint my bumper.
