Default Help me out ls4 guys!!!

Alright, to start with I have a F1 Head-unit and I'm extremely interested in pulling some power out of a ls4 (don't ask me why, I've done ls1, ls2, and ls6 motors, so I guess it is time).

1. What is similar with the ls1 block
a. how are the motor mounts set up, can I utilize RWD with this motor?
b. bell housing, can I use a T-56?
2. How do I delete the DOD, can I replace the valley cover with a ls6?

From what i have seen basic block is simliar to LS1/2's. DOD can be removed. Replace lifters. changed Oil preause sensor location. Not sure how removing completely will effect oiling. No starter mount on Engine. Starter mounts to Tranny.

Probably would want to swap out the evil accessory setup with another ls or truck motor. It would be easier to get a different block unless you want to put it in a fiero/vw/porsche or something that's rear engine to start with. You will end up having to use a tranny thats meant for a v6 and it will be the first thing to go.

Accessories shouldn't be a problem as long as they will bolt right up and does the 5 speed out of the Silverado (4.3, etc.) allow for the starter to be mounted on the transmission?
