Default Pics and some thoughts

now that im about to go back to school and garage the car another winter i have had the car long enough where i have some definite opinions about it and some things i have realized....

i like how it is off the beaten path of performance cars it makes people ask questions about it

the muscle car crowd does not take kindly to these (especially using the 77 shaker) they think these machines are out of place and are not considered muscle mainly because of the drive type

pontiac should have made these with the shaker, although some dont like it i know it fits the lines of the car and have actually had people at the dealer ask what package i ordered to get it

the ls4 online community is really proactive its good seeing everyones takes on everything and part of dealing with quirky cars is that everyone has their own solution resulting in many unique cars with few that share too much in common

punk kids that ask if its my moms car can shove it.. true i look young but i started saving my pennies when i was twelve and parted out a project i had some serious time in to get this car. and hell i used the same discman four years because i was saving for a car

theres nothing wrong with four doors

tap shift was good in theory... i never use it

the ported headligt is super worth it if you can find an extra cheap everything just runs smoother

the cut out is my favorite mod, no more "is that a v8?"

i find myself hopeing these cars patina as well as the 70's gm muscle

i know my tranny will go out at some point hopefully while i have a warrenty

I find myself wishing i had bought a cherry 69 Buick GS for the same price untill i remember what a bitch my dads 67 lemas is sometimes these cars start right now get 30mpg on the freeway and still haul

the interior is really nice my girls love heated seats

everyone likes a v8 rumble over a whiny overhead cam thing

ok enough bs PICS time

that shaker is clean man. The profile shot of the car really lets it shine. I'd just paint the hood to match and you'd be freakin' set. Nice car.

here you go its not the best system ever but its easy to adjust so i like that it basically sits on the weatherstripping at the hood and uses two of the mounts on the manifold

Why don't you try a Spectre cone? They have a place that can except a hose in the front.

I still dunno about the shaker, though...

The cone itself is a little smaller, but it fit.

Spectre also makes an inline cone, basically a cone with a pipe around it.

I took my intake headlights out, to focus on a fwi or something similar.

thanks but not really i bought an extra hood online so my stocker is in the garage untouched i can go back to stock whenever i want

and yeah the back is open it vents tons of heat but its not cut out completely i might dremel the rest out and use the lazer cutter at school to make a honey comb grille for it to match the ront and side grills

i also removed the dealer badge on the trunk looks way better good tip guys

I was a little curious about that as well. It's not really a "grabber" hood if it doesn't grab anything.

well i think its more like its not really a shaker if it doesnt shake. but regardless it looks cool. i just want to make it functional. there was a company that used to sell a flapper and a solenoid kit for the ta shakers. with a switch that would open the flapper under full throttle. if you made a box out of fiberglass maybe you could get it to work and not have to worry about collecting a ton of water.
