yep, had the same issue a month or so ago... had the gas cap message on the DIC...

had a service appt. next day anyway, so told the dealer about it, and the trouble code, and they found that they had to replace the evap canister/valve....

been fine ever since...

I just replaced my gas cap as I was tossing the 455 code for a while now. See if that shuts it up. I decieded to go with the gas cap because the dealer told me they replaced caps 10 times this year and the canister vent valve 1 time. Last year they replaced caps 15 times and only twice for the vent valve. The new cap goes on much tighter... I always questioned the old cap since it never went on that tight....We'll see if it still chucks the code again.

Well that wasn't it. Returned the cap and got the valve.

I am thinking the massive EVAP leak is fixed now.
