The shopp said one of the solinods on my valve lifter oil manifold are bad so the whole unit has to be replaced

You have a tuner; does it disable DOD or AFM? If it does then give it a try and see if the problem goes away.

They got the new oil manifold and aparently gm changed it. It a different disiegn but it is still doing the same thing. The head is now coming off so we can check if there is a bent valve. My question is since it wouldnt be much more work. Should i just cam it?
