Slapped on an LS4 emblem!
Big thanks for DragonZ28 and his quality work, the emblem is top-notch! (thanks Matt!) I had originally planned on mounting on the dash on the passenger side, but after seeing it mounted on the trunk I just couldnt resist. I love it!
And while she was clean, I snapped a few of the interior:

I thought about putting one of those emblems in place of the SS emblem on te trunk, but I couldn't make up my mind on spending money on the emblem. Now that I have seen the pictures you have taken, I'm convinced that I need to buy the emblem.

I got it from emblempros.com Contact dragonZ28 (he is a sponsor here if I'm not mistaken) by pm or email at sales@emblempros.com I didnt see any monte carlo or impala links on the ls4 page, but I know he does a lot of custom stuff and I'd almost guarantee he can make it.
Thanks for the compliments as well!!

They do those for all LSx engines, we had a group buy a few months back. You can get the "LS" and the "4" in any color you want and anything written above the "LS"
I'm actually working on modifying the two I bought, they stuck out too far to me.
And I think I was the first to ask EP to make these.
Looks good on DCM (or PHM, I can't tell...), especially with the purple 4.

I thought about doing LS4 emblem thing, too. Looks real sharp!
Instead, I went with a set of '62 Impala SS badges all the way around. I'll be putting them on this week and I'll take some pics to show y'all when it's done.

I went a different direction using a "4" from a Lexus LS400 trunk emblem that I trimmed using an Exacto knife to try and get the fonts to match better. I have removed all the "SS" emblems on the car as well both inside (LTZ headrests and gold bowtie airbag emblem) and out. I take clients out on this car so I wanted to downplay the visual SS bling factor a bit.
I had to have both front bearing hubs replaced recently, and the service writer at my local Chevy dealer thought the car was a V6 LTZ until he fired it up to move it and check the odometer ("What the--?"). Worn mufflers + no res = a pretty healthy idle burble.
