Default Custom engine covers

Any of you guys done anything with your engine covers? I'm in the process of doing mine. Its nothing spectacular, but it should look pretty neat and unique when it's done. It will hopefully be ready for paint here shortly. I'll post pics from start to finish after I complete it. Post some pics of yours if you got em.

lol its funny you mention that....on clubgp i had someone say the same thing...i threw around a few ideas of how i may do it...i thought about having the top metallic blue and the bottom part red...funds are kinda short right now but maybe next spring i will when i have the dog bone part of it painted blue since i have a lot of red going on and also the bracket needs re-done after i beat the hell of it trying to take out the stock motor mount and put in the poly one.

I had mine painted and was starting on fiberglassing it, then decided to do what Sigma done, stick it in storage, as it serves no purpose.

Find someone that does good airbrushing. BuffaloSS had his cover along with his fuse box cover airbrushed and it looks pretty awesome. Don't know if he keeps it on all the time though or just for shows.

I'm doing something a little different. I had a 2000 Trans Am WS6 that I did Vette covers for and they came out pretty sick. I did the bodywork on the cover for the SS today and got it in primer. I'll let it sit for a day or two, sand it down, and prep it for paint. Still don't know what color to go with. I kinda want to keep it suddle...I don't want to open the hood and think "rice". Since my car is white, I'm thinking either gloss black or satin black.
