A buddy of mine went to dealership the other day to pick up a wheel he ordered and to his surprise he was told that the 18X8's were realy supposed to be mounted in the rear & the 18X7 were supposed to mounted in the front. Now I'm realy confused because the ony GM with the bigg n' little reverse theme is the Poncho & to boot the bigger brakes up front. Is there any truth to this explanation from the dealer?

 

WRONG, 8s in front to counter torque steer and improve braking and handling, that dealership is bad... Tell them to study up on the GXP before they get sued for really screwing somebody's car up.

 

Sounded fishy to me too but I was checking. Maybe there was info out there that I wasn't aware of.

 

like JP said tell that dealership to re-check the specs on the GXP.
