Vibration Damper/Harmonic Balancer
Vibration Damper/Harmonic Balancer Started it up yesterday morning and heard and felt a vibration coming from the engine bay, it got worse throughout the day. So this morning when I got home i popped the hood and the harmonic balancer was going crazy. I ordered the part online and am waiting for it to be delivered. Just curious if you guys think this is something i could do myself with a puller or just pay the labor and have someone do it for me? Also how much labor do you think it would be? And obviously im not going to drive it until its fixed but if i had to drive it somewhere will it be okay assuming i baby it? Thanks in advance.
Not that anyone really cares but I ordered the part 3 weeks ago and found out its on GM national back order which could take months to get in...so im without my GXP...probably getting a cheap TBird SC to play with until i can get her fixed...looks like she'll be stored for the winter, unintentionally
