Default Dyno numbers, sound about right??

Was at a buddies this evening and we decided to slap the GXP on his dyno for fun. Only made two pulls, one in third and then again in second. First pull was in 3rd and it hit the 140mph limiter way before redline and made 230.x whp and 250 tq. So, we decided to make a 2nd gear pull to avoid the speed limiter to at least be able to pull to redline, it made 239.x whp and 250.x tq. Does that sound about right for a bone stock GXP with 36K miles? I'm curious if it could've made a few more hp in 3rd if it could've pulled to redline. Thoughts?

Joe.

~298 bhp and ~312 ft/lbs sounds about right, factory tests were 300 hp @ 5600 rpms and 323 ft/lbs @ 4400. I think second is the good dyno gear, I plan on getting a dyno tune next year, too.

I did a search and it seems that my numbers are within range of most stock LS4's, so I'm cool with the fact the car is making the power it should be. I really want to wake this thing up though, where are those damn headers, lol!

I'm going to be running the car in the 1/4 mile within the next couple of weeks, so we'll see what the trap speed has to say as well. It will be nice to have both dyno numbers as well as 1/4 mile times for a nice baseline reference before I start modding it. I'll definitely keep you guys up to date.
