Did you make sure they understood that this was an LS car and not a 3.8?

That's some crazy company working New Year's Day. Don't know if I would trust them.

i contacted them a while back like a month ago. and yes.. i told them i had a 2006 impala ss and that it was powered by a LS4 and that they currently didnt offer anything for it but that i could try the one for a V6 camaro and also later on got an email stating they offered one for a LSX swap for older model .heres the email i got from them . hope this helps.

Jose,
We offer a single belt setup, however it is made for customers who are putting the LS blocks in older vehicles. I have never sold it for a later model vehicle that the LS block came factory in. I have no idea about the fitment on that vehicle and what is involved on getting it to work with your factory computer and wiring system. You can take a look at the kit at the link below.
Thank You,

I saw some v6 ones on ebay for 130. I'd just be worried about the crank snout diameter, spacing from the block, and stuff. Does anyone have pictures/measurements of ours?

The LS4 crank pulley is unique to that engine. None of the other LS pulleys will fit and line up with the accessories. It will require a custom made pulley. I have been trying to buy a stock one from GM and they have a price but say they are not available.

Camaro V6 3.4 or 3.8?.... I dont think it will work. There has never been an underdrive crank pulley for the 3.8 engines

has anyone tried to adapt a silverado or sierra alternator onto one of these engines to compensate for a UD pulley?

craftsmen also sells a belt tool for 30 bucks, comes with a 3 foot handle and extension with short sockets and crow foot sockets. its a breeze to change belts on my gtp now.

also can someone confirm that tha craftsman belt tool works on the ls4. tried to swap out my alternator last night and had the biggest PITA to put the factory back in.. so just keep the HO.one but eventually am tring to make this a lot easier.
