Subs
Subs I just ordered a JL 12 in with 500 watt amp. so i know i need power to the amp from the battery, a remote to turn it on, and im going to use a Line out Converter to tap into the rear speakers for a signal. So thats the basic setup and im wanting to have a box attached inline (cant think of what its called) to adjust the level of just my subs output.
if anyone knows what im talking about, what is this box called, and where, how do i install it to get this to work like im wanting

Line level converter, they work and I've used them. But they are not the best. I would use a JL Audio CleanSweep http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_c...php?page_id=94 its pricey but will do it all. Or change out your stock head unit. Those are the best options.

It's just a bass control I guess. I think some amps come with them. Something like this is what I'd imagine you're talking about.
