I'm assuming it has a 3.5 but I think the 3.9 was optional even on the LS. Which motor are we talking?

i know he wants to put a supercharger on it and headers and he wants internals too. Cause he misses his fbody and he couldnt find on that reminds him of his old one. so he didnt buy one again and hes having a kid. so his wife would kill him if he got another one. So he is stuck with the lt.

Wow good luck to him if he wants to go do all that. At least there's a little more had he gotten an SS. I would have tried to find a deal on a used G8 if he needs a 4 door and really wants to mod. He's going to have go custom on a lot of stuff.

He should go to www.60degreev6.com. They will help him out over there as it is a site devoted to vehicles with that type of engine. I am a moderator on that site.

Wow, thats odd. Well I can try to help you. The 3500VVT and 3900VVT is a very different motor from it's predesessors(2.8/3.1/3.4/3100/3400/3500) so mixing and matching parts is not as easy as it used to be. You can still run LSX valve springs and even get a TB adaptor to run LSX TB's but I think for now all the power will come from good cylinder head porting and a nice tune. If you are careful your can run a reground cam with the VVT. For somthing quick, I'd say get a 2.5 inch exhaust on that engine, I know it would respond to it pretty well.

The 3.5VVT in particular has a very conservative factory tune. I would focus on that if you want a bunch more out of it. Another thing GM did that kinda sucked, they run a 1200 rpm stall torque converter for the 3500VVT...I think they were really looking at fuel economy with the whole setup...

Magnaflow IMHO is not a good sounding muffler for those engines...But a Flowmaster or Hooker AeroChambers have a good sound. Flowtech is not that bad either. Flowmasters and Aero Chambers give a more natural sound consistant with those engines. You hear them for what they are. Although if there is any rasp (and with those engines there really isnt) Aero Chambers will mask it.

Also here's the site sponsered store http://wot-tech.com/shop/

Well I know they made a a fair amount of changes to it to the point where you really cant mix and match parts like how it was done on the older 60 degree v6 engines.
