another transmission question

I just had a run in with a Subaru. The transmission struggled to move from first to second. It just seemed to stick in first… waver… and then drop into second. In the past I have noticed that first seemed to hold a bit too long but nothing like tonight. Current mileage is 70K.

I've heard around here that those are signs that the tranny is about to go....mine hangs on shifts too, and it has been doing it for a while now.

Who knows, can't be good.

mine started doing that right before I went to Iraq. It "misses" the 1 -> 2 shift at WOT. I am at 21k miles and that bitch is going straight to the dealership when I get back.
