E-brake problem

Yes you can adjust it. Would be good to inspect your e-brake shoes too.
I doubt you wore them off.
I am looking for a thread with a link to a scan page on how to do it.
I'll post it when I find it.
I couldn't find the thread, but I have the scan from the haynes manual that another member put up.
In the bottom right illustration you can see the wheel adjuster, the adjusting nut on the brake cable is shown on another page so it did not make it in this scan. but if you raise the car take the wheel off and trace the parking brake cable you will see it.
To get to the wheel adjuster you have to remove the rear brake disc. You might have to bang on it hard a few times to get it off depending on your millage.
I replaced all four discs recently and the rears where a bitch to get off @ 48 000 miles.
Used a piece a wood and hammer to get em loose.
