My Dad was a cop (retired, disability, it's a hard life and tons of credit to anyone who deals with the worst in society day in and day out!) and at 6'4" 250, he was pumped about this presser when I showed it to him. FWIW, his favorite cruiser's were the 351 powered LTD II's.
That all makes good sense. Cops carry lots of battle rattle, they need more space for that and laptops and ten radars and other stuff.

I've been reading about Carbon Motors, and I really don't expect much from them. That looks like one seriously overpriced bucket, compared to value added.

And if they demand their own service contracts too...no way Jose`.

why do they say the new caprice’s 6.0-liter V-8 is rated at an estimated 355 horsepower?? doesn't the 6L make more than that now?

I'm guessing it's because it's getting an L92 and not an L99 or LS3.

Oops... yeah, the G8 definately had an L76 (and that's what I was thinking of) and the VVT L92 is a different animal.

Both cars are rated about the same for acceleration, where Dodge beats both. I had the MSP testing #'s somewhere. Can't really outrun the radio anyway.

The Impala has more front seat room than the Crown Vic. Much better suited for two deputies. Neither car has any back seat room with the cages, but that's only a concern for the people that have to ride back there for the short trip.
