Default GXP owners please step in
Kinda silly I know, but do any of you have 2 hood strut supports on your GXP. Another forum member swears he had 2 hood struts on his 05' I've gone back and looked at pictures of early production GXP's from the Bondurant School event that several clubgp members went to back in March of 05' The pics of those GXP's show 1 hood strut. My 08' has 1 hood strut. All the online parts suppliers show only 1 required. Did any of you buy an 05' new that had 2 hood struts?

are you talking about the bars that goes over the battery and the air intake?? just to make sure im thinking about the right thing.. i bought it used with 38k miles on

Yes, not the diagonal brace. And is it struts or strut?

My 05 has one strut on the drivers side - hood doesn't have the bracket for one to mount on the passenger side.
