Default Is the stock TB a limiting factor for a bolt-on car?

Hi all.
This is a complicator for tuning, so I am wondering if the stock TB was a bottleneck for my car. My mods are: 1.8rrs, FWI, LS6 springs, Ported intake, hogged-out TB, 3" catted DP, Magnaflow and tune. My mileage with the ported TB (which is a bit hogged out to begin with: too much air passing below the throttle blade) has gone down. It is tuned for it, as best is possible, but I'm wondering if I should just get a stocker and throw it back on there when I get the car retuned for the headers.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
BJ

More air=more fuel and visa versa....
IMO, def. retune it, especially with the headers...your really going to be dumping gas in it on top of having the non OE TB...keep to your plan...your on it...swap for the track if you wanted to...and plug in on a diablo...just to adapt your AFR's from street to strip....

See about getting a new throttle blade that fits correctly.

The intake manifold is a bigger bottleneck than the TB. Get a TB that functions properly, LS2 intake manifold, and the headers and you'll be ready to go!

I wish the LS2 flowed better, it'd be a cheaper alternative.
