The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time

In this pic you can see where the third coil sits a little lower that the first two. I just used self tapping screws to set the coil in that position. You can also see the evap can sitting between the two coils.
I have been trying to get these for thier better spark. People like these better than the MSD's. The first time I got these they were listed as LS2 truck coils with the heatsinks and when they arrived they were regular LS2 coils. Yes, I was pi$$ed to say the least.
I just ordered another set from someone who is supposed to have an impeccable trader rating on Feb. 27th. He asked me to notify him when payment was sent, which I did do. I asked him to let me know when he recieves payment and when they will ship and have heard nothing. I am getting really pissed and am thinking of never again buying anything off of this site again. He could have at least told me he got the payment. What a friggin' joke this is...

I'll let you know how easy the install is. I bought a complete set with the brackets and connectors to just make it plug and play.

1. Took negative battery cable off. (10mm socket)
2. Unplug the main connector on the bracket. (it is light grey / beige and about 2" wide)
3. Unplug each coil from the spark plug wires.
3a.(Rear one only) Unplug the O2 sensor. (it crosses over the rear bracket)
4. Take off the 5 bolts (10mm) holding the bracket to the valve covers.
To install just reverse these directions. The truck brackets fit our valve covers perfetly, almost better than the factory coil brackets. Our plug wires also fit fine too.
I took the car out for a ride and noticed it seemed to run smoother. One of my objectives besides trying to get better spark was to see if my gas milage goes up. I'll know that in a week or so.
