help with this monte carlo
help with this monte carlo my dad is having trouble with a 98 monte carlo. its a 3.1 v6. there is no fire from the coils at all. it has fuel but it wont start. all fuses and wring are good.
my first thought is the ignition module is bad. but there are no DTC's in it at all. checked all the fuses and wiring. just wondering if i can get some help with it here? is this a common problem with them?

Nope you can't test with a volt meter . Take it to autozone and have it tested its free. If its not the control module its the crank sen. The control module will run u $149.99 well thats what it is at my store shouldn't be much more or less where your at. Befor it stoped running would it run for a bit and then shut off and not start for a few hr.?
