Default brake job

changing all 4 pads and rotors on my gxp anyone know the all the tools i need to do so? or where i can find that information?

its not too hard. Just need a 3/4 socket to take your wheels off. And torque them at 100lbs when u put them back on. I cant rebember what size of socket you need for the calipers but theres just 2 bolts on the back that you unscrew and those slide off. On my car the bolts on the front callipers were 1 mm bigger than the back callipers. then just use a allen wrench on the screw that holds on each rotor. If it doesnt just slide off hit it with a rubber hammer a couple of times. Good Luck hope that helps.

It is very easy to do. If you have a basic socket set and allen wrench you will be fine. I do not remember the exact size of the tools I used but I know they were nothing out of the ordinary. Oh, and don't forget a C-clamp to compress the caliper pistons.

I thought it was a hex not a allen screw.

You are correct. I have looked back through my pictures and I can see that I had my torx bits out. I probably shouldn't be commenting on technical aspects of this from memory... I PROMISE IT IS EASY!

yea sorry it is hex i couldnt remember the name. I know i used the hex scew drivers to unscrew them though
