I understand that. I like the DOD on long HW drives but I can live without it. Count me in on this intake group....

Did the weiand street warrior ever come out? That might be able to do it depending on what the holley bankruptcy did to the brand.

Composite molds are not cheap. They are cost effective on larger numbers of parts. If they do this, you are going to be having few fewer sets to spread that cost out. It is going to be EXPENSIVE.

Ok so I got someone to call me back!! Bad news though he said that the cost of the manifold would be so high it wouldn't be worth it. He also said that F.A.S.T. has well over 1 million dollars in just the R&D for the LSX-R manifold. So yeah it’s a no go, but he did say that the LSX-R manifold is a 10 piece manifold so modding it would be much easier then modding a stock intake. I know your thoughts cuz I have them to WTF are you thinking about modding an intake that cost 1K. He said he has one on his ls1 swapped s-10 and he had to mod it as well. He used a 2 part epoxy and said he has no issues with it. So I think after I save up some money I’m going to try this and see how it goes. He’s going to send me a lot of picture of the intake from different angles and such. And said that if I have any questions give him a call and he would do whatever he could to help.
On a different note he said if you’re going to use a stock LSx intake go with the LS6 I guess the LS2 and the LS1 flow almost the same. Just some food for thought.
