Lightbulb Osram Night Breaker & Silverstar Reverse Bulbs

Well I finally installed my set of H11 Osram Night Breaker head light bulbs. Here are some comparison pics.

Left: Night Breaker, Right: OEM, from driver's side

Left: Night Breaker, Right: OEM, from passenger's side

OEM:

Night Breaker:

Reverse lights, Left: Silverstar, Right: OEM

OEM:

Silverstar:

AND... My mystery mod, can anyone see it?

Review:
Love them. All the way around. They're brighter and whiter than stock and every thing I hoped for. I recommend them to any one looking for a nice replacement halogen bulb that doesn't want to go with an HID kit. Now I just need a set to replace the fog light bulbs with because they don't match at all. I may just go with Silverstars (since Sylvania now makes them in H11) for the fogs though. As for the reverse lights, you can definitely see a difference. It's a brighter, whiter light, but it's not really that big of a deal. I don't know if they're worth the $8 since no one will probably ever notice. For tinted window though, it helps.

Big difference. OE GM headlights are not that great in my experience.

I ran Silverstars in my 04 Impala and they were noticeably brighter than stock. Contrary to other reports I hear, they have never burned out early on me. They were going strong when I sold the car @ 26,000 miles.

I've been meaning to get by the auto parts store to look around for replacement headlight bulbs. We have a 2007 Kia Spectra that has incredible stock headlights. Wish the GP was nearly that bright.

Thanks for the photos, picture worth 1,000 words.

I have the stealth bulbs in my fog lights. They look so good without that amber look. I love a nice clean looking light like yours!!

Looks good. I would consider trying those if I didn't already have HIDs!

I'm a big fan of silverstars. I've heard the ultras have better life, I had them in my 98. In my 06 I just have silverstar turns

With DDM tuning's prices...why NOT do HIDs? They're as cheap if not cheaper than silverstars.

Love the cleared signal, btw. How'd you do it?

I dunno. I think they're alright as long as they're a good color in a clear lense.

eBay! I got them from a US seller at a good price. I believe around $30-$35.

It's a chromed amber bulb. Because it's "illegal" for one, and I didn't want to blind people. These bulbs are great.

You are definitely NOT the only one.

Thanks for the comments guys. The Osrams are really nice. I still need to get something in my fog lights though, I'll probably just go with Silverstars because they can be had for cheaper than the Osrams and they're basically the same (bulb & company).
