Default Half way to electric cutout install

Went to local muffler shop yesterday and had them cut and weld in the electric cutout. (Cheap, only $30) I put mine in the right rear just before the Y that splits the pipe in two for the mufflers. I had made my own small turn down pipe that bolts to the back of cutout. The whole things fits very nicely and snuggly with no loss of ground clearance which is what I wanted. Doesn't interfer with body or suspension. Now I need to find the time to install the wire cable into the interior of car. I was able to figure out how to remove the top of the center console ( lift the storage compartment door, move shifter to middle of travel, grab the back end of the cup holder part and lift hard, the whole top, both pieces, lifted off, simply clipped on) I am going to use the aux power outlet wires (cigar lighter socket in top front of console) as my 12V power. I have installed the fused switch at the very front of the console in the little change cup dip so it is not obvious and out of regular sight. The switch has a relatively long black ****/handle so I can reach it fairly easily but its hard to see.

WOW only $30!!! My local performance shop wants to charge me $200! But they are also running the line through the interior as well, so I guess I can't complain

Installed cutout all the way in today!!
Wired up the cutout, ran the cable just inside the floorboard reinforcement rail up to just in front of the passenger seat and came up under the rug and went over to under the console and wired to the aux. power socket. Switch is in the change holder dip in console
('07 Monte SS) . I used rubber coated cable clamps and wire ties and rubber grommet and sealer. Works great! Love the sound.
BTW, you would be surprised how thick the foam cushion is under the carpets.
